If you’re new here, start with the Invoice Generator to create and download a PDF. For invoicing concepts (terms, tax basics), see the Invoicing Guide.

Most requested help topics in 2026

The most common support questions we see are about sales tax math and proforma documents. If your team is handling US invoices, start with state-focused tax pages so you can validate combined rates before sending documents to clients. For pre-sale B2B flows and international shipments, use our proforma explainers to align your terminology with procurement and finance teams.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my documents stored (local vs cloud)?

If you’re not signed in, downloads can be saved locally in your browser (History). If you sign in, documents can be stored in cloud mode under your organization.

Can I download a PDF without creating an account?

Yes. You can create a document and download a PDF without signing up. Cloud features like syncing and sending may require sign-in.

How do I send an invoice to a client?

If you’re signed in, you can send a share link (and optionally attach a PDF) from the send flow. The recipient can view the document via a public link.

Can I export my history?

Yes. The History page supports CSV and XLSX exports so you can keep an external record of downloaded documents.

Can I save a template (brand, defaults, notes/terms)?

Yes. Use “Save as Template” in the editor to save branding, currency, notes/terms, and common defaults. You can reset the template later if needed.

How do I erase local data?

The History page includes an “Erase everything” action that clears local history and local defaults. Use it when you’re on a shared device.
